Jessica Biel Joins Making Of Hitchcock’s ‘Psycho’ Film
EXCLUSIVE: Jessica Biel committed today to the second female lead in the Sacha Gervasi-directed Alfred Hitchcock And The Making Of Psycho. Biel will play the role of Vera Miles, who played Lila Crane in the 1960 classic. Anthony Hopkins plays Hitchcock, Scarlett Johansson will play Janet Leigh, Helen Mirren will play Alma Reville and James D’Arcy is reportedly up for the role of Anthony Perkins. Biel will next be seen starring opposite Colin Farrell in the Total Recall remake for Sony Pictures. Biel beat out several actresses for the Hitchcock role. She’s repped by CAA, Management 360 and attorney Karl Austen.

Jessica Biel hooks ‘Truth About Fishes’
Having wrapped a lead role in Sony’s upcoming reboot of “Total Recall,” Jessica Biel is returning to the indie scene, as she’s in final negotiations to star opposite Kaya Scodelario in Francesca Gregorini’s “c.”
Gregorini wrote the script, which follows Emanuel (Scodelario), a troubled 17-year-old girl who babysits her new neighbor Linda’s “baby,” which is actually a very life-like doll. She goes along with the delusion while befriending Linda, who happens to be the spitting image of Emanuel’s late mother.
Biel is in talks to play Linda, who has been completely traumatized by the death of her child and now cares for the baby doll as if it were actually alive.
Biel, who can currently be seen in Garry Marshall’s “New Year’s Eve,” next stars opposite Gerard Butler in Gabriele Muccino’s comedy “Playing the Field,” which is skedded for release on March 9. Thesp also toplines David O. Russell’s long-delayed indie “Nailed,” as well as Pascal Laugier’s thriller “The Tall Man.”

Jessica was on the set of Playing The Field with co-stars Catherine Zeta Jones, Judy Greer, Uma Thurman, Dennis Quaid and Gerard Butler on Tuesday, April 19th, 2011 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Jessica is playing the ex-wife of Gerard Butler in the film about a former soccer star that volunteers to coach his son’s soccer team in attempt to win back his family.
